Two Souls Connecting

Safety, peace and love in the dance of new life is key to the health and wellbeing of birthing folks and baby.

Hawaiian pregnancy massage works similarly to that of a non-pregnant massage. The long flowing strokes using hands and forearms weave around the body to improve muscle tone and flexibility of joints, repair postural imbalances, increase blood and energy flow and treat other common discomforts of pregnancy, including emotional discomforts.

Pregnancy is a time of adjustment and change - physically, emotionally and socially. It is often a time of joy, happiness and wonder but along with the decisions to be made in regards to your pregnancy, birth and parenthood it can be confronting, overwhelming and confusing. KaHuna massage can raise uncomfortable emotions to the surface allowing them to be freed and transmuted, which opens space for the more positive emotions to emerge.

Climb aboard my table and allow me to take you on a journey into deep relaxation.

Techniques include breath work, compression, soft and deep tissue work and joint mobilisations. It is recommended to get regular treatments during 2nd and 3rd trimesters in pregnancy as KaHuna’s rhythmic movement induces a trance like state that can be revisited during labour as a fabulous tool to go within and relax. A repeated sound track during sessions can be utilised to help with positive, calm associations during the birth journey.

To be held and nurtured while you are holding and nurturing is a truely magnificent experience.
